A 1-Year Bible Study Schedule
|
However you choose to implement a Bible Study Plan, it is most important that you START and that you study regularly, daily, even if it is only a small amount of Scripture each day. And, as you begin your daily study, always approach Jesus Christ in prayer with your request that he energize your mind and your understanding. If you approach your study of Holy Scripture honestly, seeking to learn truth, by the power of God you truly will find just that. If you are not currently doing any Bible Study, don't delay, and start today, even if it is only a small amount of scripture studied each day to start with! Stick with it, and you will be glad that you did! Remember, you don't become a better, wiser person by simply wanting to improve as you do nothing to accomplish it. The old saying is "Garbage In = Garbage Out!" Sitting in front of the television or game console is equivalent to garbage in and garbage out. You must learn the Word of God through STUDY and MEDITATION. Picture yourself sitting on the porch or in your rocking chair with a Bible on your lap and a passage of scripture on your mind. You must invest your TIME soaking up God's wisdom to break the cycle of garbage in and garbage out. So... GET BUSY! The following chart links will launch both the audio Bible and J. Vernon McGee lecture .mp3 files, playing them in proper successive order. This will be quite a large investment of your time to go through it all in a year! However, in America we are running way behind. We are losing our children to the non-Christian world much faster than we are leading some of them into the Kingdom of God. We have no time to lose if we are to reverse this horrible trend. Again I say YOU must invest your TIME soaking up God's wisdom to break the cycle of garbage in and garbage out. Again I say YOU must GET BUSY! |
