Just Look Up! Listen To This Song!

by Robert K. Lewis

Spoken Prelude:
Jesus Christ!
Son of God!
Savior!

Verse 1:
As we trudge thru our lives filled with worry,
As we race against time like the wind,
As we stoop down to shoulder our burden,
As we work hard to conquer our sin,

Chorus:
Just look up!
And we may see Christ coming!
Just look up!
For He may come today!
And with all the hosts of the heavens
He may come to take us away,
Today!
(Hallelujah!)
He may come to take us away!

Verse 2:
As we squirm from the clutches of Satan,
As we run to the sure grasp of God,
As we trust in the power of Jesus,
As we pray that our trials won't be long,
(Chorus)

Verse 3:
As we struggle to help the afflicted,
As we strive that all souls might be saved,
As we weep for the loss of our martyr's.
As we ache for loved one's gone away,
(Chorus)

Verse 4:
As we toil to fathom His wisdom,
As we bow down our heads with respect,
As we look for our King of Salvation,
As we realize we truly are blest,
(Ending Chorus)

Ending Chorus:
Just look up!
And we may see Christ coming!
Just look up!
For He may come today!
And with all the hosts of the heavens
He may come to take us away,
Today!
(Hallelujah!)
He may come to take us today!
